Season of half-random trials is a wrap. It's been fun and productive — but nothing lasts forever. Operations are evolving. In today's stream, I share a macro-picture of what has passed and where the horizons are unfolding.

First a glance into the backstory and the arc of eras in sharing. Then into the media in works, new series and continued classics for a well-rounded buffet. Finally into the tech stack supporting us all on this journey.

These are my life's work and process of integration — but this is also a prototyping process, open source goods for you to explore and extract whatever seems relevant. Stay tuned and keep on sharing your feedback.

You may have seen the recent drop on "Transitions", moving into the Third Era of Operation. What exactly am I on about?

In today's Backyard Stream: First a quick backstory to give you context for the eras of operation. Then an overview of the media in the works. And finally a glance at the applications and tech that will be rolled out to supplement and support all of this.

Basic Backstory — Eras of Production

First into the brief backstory. After some 12 odd years of basically laying low in silence, two good fellows stirred me into action, wanted to learn about things. So okay. 2024 summer. I started producing all these long-form videos. 30-40 minutes, going at quite some length about all things essential. That was way too much.

Into the Second Era, I released all of that out into the open and began to experiment, trial, different formats, different approaches. See what resonates, see what all I care to pour out. Our series, like Kernel Talks, Quick Drops, Metaloom Reviews, and the how-so-ever many spin-offs that followed. Broad spectrum, little strategy, as it happens — whichever way the wind blew, that's where I streamed it out. And with that, all in good R&D, studying, evaluating, it's time to call the trial season a wrap — and we are moving on into a more coherent phase.

Our Third Era of operation boots up with a more strategic system, a coherent diversification of outlets, of the streams in different form factors. Short, medium, long, for different audiences — beginners, intermediate, advanced, millennials to veterans, what have you. A bit of something for each, with pathways between the series to provide for a convergence. With plenty of entry points to boot. And yes, coupled with a well-rounded tech stack, coded from a scratch, to provide scaffolds and further facilities for all of this — more on that in a little bit.

Quick Glance — New and Continued Series

Then into the media spread. You've already seen "Quick Drops" no doubt, our catch-all short form, a wrap in 40 episodes, needs to be diversified. "Kernel Talks", our pilot medium form wisdom series, is also a wrap for the first season — to be continued in finer form.

Into the short form genre. Replacing "Quick Drops", you've already seen the "Brief Snaps", my little rants. You may also have seen the pilot for "Sage Tips", a more friendly and accommodating series. Further, we have "What Say You?", a bunch of questions coming up, and we have "Ponder Struck", short form, deep contemplation. Even "Ancient Orientor", we look at classic sources, verses in the original, with some glosses into the profound wisdom from bygone days.

Into the medium form, you will have already seen the "Living Awareness" series. Well into its fifth episode. Themes on self-inquiry, vipassana, but not in the Buddhist frame of baggage. Just the bare bones, the guts of how to manage your awareness. "Kernel Talks" as noted, will continue into a second season, coupled with a short form series, "Path Basics", a more structured step-by-step entry-level curriculum into all that we are exploring here.

We have the "Wakeup Hermit" series, booting up shortly. A cranky creature, me, taking on my persona in the hills — anecdotes, meta-commentary on all of this. More spicy than what you hear in the "Backyard Stream". And yes, still into the short form, along with the "Path Basics", we are rolling out the "Micro Meditation" series, a method an episode, ways for you to handle your concentration and reflection needs in the midst of your busy lives.

Into the longer form, you may have seen "Conscious Systems", fair bit more technical, in-depth. Then we have "Open Musings", the more free-flowing reflections. Matters deep but not awfully dense — approachable ponderings. Another new series, "Psi Ops", into psychology, the workings of your brain and awareness, even scraping on neuroscience. The pilot's already bagged, pending release. And of course, there is "Mythoscope", the exploration into traditions at some depth — unpacking archetypes, deconstructing beliefs into living actuality.

So that's all there, off the top of my head, and there's a bunch more. I will write this for you into good form sometime soon. Otherwise, just stay tuned and see them rolling out, one after the other. Alright, so that's on the media production side. Beyond that, you obviously get the "Short Cuts", later diversified into different themes. We extract from the longer form for those of you who have not the time or attention to go deeper at this time.

Sneak Peeks — Tech Scaffolds Supporting Us

Then let's take a quick glance at the tech and applications side of things. As many of you know, beyond my mystic philosophical journeys, I'm also a veteran coder. Whatever infra that we require to support our operations, I can do it. We need a new social media platform? In principle — yes I can do it, been there, done that. So, there's plenty that I'm working on.

At this point, you have no doubt come across the Ananda.ICU repository, where transcripts and audio/video download packages of all this material lands. Really it's the first destination, and all the platforms out there are simply outlets.

As the first and obvious upgrades, I'll drop in the full content search with refined options, for you to find exactly what you're looking for. Beyond that, I've got a bit of homework, tagging and organizing existing content by theme, so you can actually look into particular topics in coherent digests.

For those of you who find my native language, expression, a bit too dense, elaborate or otherwise challenging,

I've put together the "Cognitive Middleware" package together with Claude AI. We have a transformer matrix that helps take all of this content, turn it into questions and answers, turn it into memos, into illustrated little narratives, etc.

For beginner millennials, for esoteric philosophers, for technical auditors, etc. So, there will be digests, 30 kinds of each for every entry that lands. As I get to trialing and iterating through the package, the module that we already have in a reasonably fine form. Stay tuned on that, that'll be an interesting addition.

Still, in way of tech, there's obviously a lot of code under the hood for creating all of these productions. This is all organic, none of this is AI-generated, save the random backdrop — but there are scripted pipelines, production workflows that automate whatever that can be automated. Streamline the production process, leave me free to actually record, and spend as little as possible in post-production.

Test-Driving Prototypes — Developed for You

Now all of this, whether code or otherwise, it's not just for me. These are a prototype, these are templates, and whatever that drives all of this will be released openly. Open source, nothing costs, nothing is paywalled. You support as you may. You don't, whatever. This is for all of you, whoever so that might wish to share their insights, help the world around themselves, help themselves organize the contents of their own consciousness.

I'm _a _facilitator. All of these are trials handed over to you in their due time, as productions ripen. So I'm basically, with all of this, dozens of series, hundreds of videos, writings, even books coming up... I am essentially a test driver, a prototype specimen, here to inspire all of you to engage in something similar, to bring more genuine value into the world in fine form. That's the broader mission in all of these operations.
