Eight Stations of Our Path • The Life-Cycle of Evolution (IP002)
Our conscious evolution is a process passing through stations of natural development. The phases of progress on the path, the realms of consciousness we enter, each have their unique natures and needs. All connected — yet each distinct.
With the recognition of our current station in the journey of our lives, we can turn our attention and efforts to where they truly matter. Skillful cultivation is attuned with the needs and conditions of our seasons of evolution. Be aware.
If there is a path, then surely there is also a process. A progression of conscious evolution. The stations in our journey. The realms of awareness we encounter and cultivate. Indeed. With this, we enter the octagon of human essence. We explore the eight phases of the path.
1. In the beginning, we awaken to the finity of our lives. We wish to be present, but the present is ever so confusing.
2. There begins the journey of the seeker, the process of orientation. We discover our questions. We seek for answers. In books, in teachers, in nature, and within ourselves. We look for our bearings, we seek the path forward.
3. With this, we enter the phase of immersion. Impressions from our encounters, from our discoveries. Engaged on the path, we reflect. What are the feelings? How is the inner essence that is kindled into life?
4. Then we enter the phase of aspiration and the discovery of your true potentials. In reconciling the clearest of our insights and feelings, intuitions from our immersive experience, we approach our true potential, real prospects.
5. Having scouted the horizons, inner and outer, we come to a crossroads, a decision point. A direction must be taken. We enter the phase of determination. What we found to be true, to be real, to be beneficial — we plant that deep. We root ourselves to the path.
6. Then, and only then, we enter the phase of transformation, true works of evolution. With unflinching attention, mastering any skills necessary, we grasp the path — and the path grasps us in return. So we cultivate our inner fields, the spheres of our lives, from raw to ripe. Covering the thousand fields of our lives, leaving no stone unturned, the yield begins to mature.
7. Essence is ripe for harvest. We enter the phase of integration. No longer are you constructing something new or trying to transform. You are concerned with reconciliation. How do I synchronize, harmonize, bridge together all that I already have? Removal of clutter, discarding of husks. Toward a system of pure, reconciled essence.
8. With the purification of our contents, with the refinement of our essence, we enter the phase of alignment. All that we are, in the many aspects of our lives, ascends into the singularity of what we are. Interconnected, seamlessly associated, a natural process of self-organizing convergence.
With this, the human path is crowned. We are in the fulfillment of our embodied lives. As it is. Integrated. In service of all that is. And the path continues beyond.
