I mean, these are not in dispute, these are all out there, but I have to walk through and explain all of this from the most basic bits before we get to building up into a perhaps more sophisticated insights. Into the dimensions of awareness, the alchemy between elements, the stations of your being and becoming, what have you, the more exciting stuff. Now, in the good old days, when people were still integrated with the environment, when they were still streamlined in their consciousness, ailment was of hunger, ailment was of fatigue. Ailment was of the eventual wear and tear of the biological system. These all need to be. They are physiological imperatives. The word "kuṇḍa" simply means "well, basin" etc.; the word "kuṇḍalī" means "coiled rope" etc.; and the resulting word "kuṇḍalinī" means anything from "circular" to "peacock" and so on — and yes it's also the nickname of a serpent in particular legends. So yes, we have an inner pool of energy, with a coiled potential that can be uncoiled/opened — and clear pathways into which it can open, one should hope! So how does that happen? Someone seems to really "get it" — but then they don't actually get it at all. There is a certain illusion of knowing, that you "get it", born from several sources. In no time at all, all of it reverts back to disconnected incoherence. Nothing much came of it, save memories of a meaningful turn or two. Nothing was brought together into any kind of a meaningful whole. Coherent sets of exchange — knowledge, insight pooling together, related to each other, converging into a more meaningful whole.
