Every once in a merry season it's time to come out of that closet and be present to the world as Jesus Christ superstar. Pro tip — don't do that. The last time I did it, the bugger's crucified me.

So what's with the birth story? You're saying that Joseph actually had nothing at all to do with it? How's that work?

It is a little bit complicated there. Mother never really broke through in explaining the finer details to the community. In the beginning, there was the immaculate womb, the infinite space of unconditioned suchness. The unbound fibers of creation without a direction.

Then as the constellations would have it, the infinite creative power took direction. Funneling down into the pristine womb matrix, through the mirror of the angel of revelations. There was the seed of immaculate essence, the spirit of human consummation. As to the corporeal aspect, I was obviously not present at the time, but the good people of Nazareth seemed to have a pretty good idea of how these sorts of things happen.

So what's with the walking on waters? Did that actually happen?

Look, my child, we are fishers of men in the symbolic world of awareness. We can't damn well play dolphins and plunge into every one of these human wells. Instead we glide across the streams, we dance atop the waves, casting our nets into the down nethers. It's not just a Lake Genesareth thing. Marching down the Roman brick road, we are walking on waters.

Then what's with the raising the dead, Lazarus and all — are you some sort of a necromancer?

Well, my friend, actually quite the opposite. We are not crafting golems. We are not animating dead matter. It's quite literally a pneumatic process. Buried alive in your inner chambers, the rocky burdens of life caving in as your ceiling collapses.

There's yet a spark of life in there. And into that living spark of pristine creation we gaze. — Rise, my child, walk among the living again! Let the dead bury the dead — we shall walk to the other side.

Then what's with the crucifixion? Actually died or actually not and rose from the dead or what?

You see, we are ever crucified and ever free, even while living. Ever in the crossroads of horizontal and vertical, above for God as below for humans, in equal measure, and unto self and thy neighbor, in equal measure. Right in the middle, the center point there — be ye crucified.

You actually serious there? Are we in a first contact, second coming scenario?

We return to the good legend after a celestial recess. See you!
