Do you know the Gorgon? Gorgon is a selfish creature watching the world with the eyes of its stomach. Scouting for things to stuff into its mouth and onward in. The rest don't matter — it satisfies itself, it keeps on filling its void.

In today's Nature Channel special, we cover normie Gorgons and the three common varieties — the Pitch Gorgon, the Navel Gorgon and the Noble Gorgon. You may have met some of these in your adventures into the wilderness of our world.

Greetings from the Nature Channel. Do you know what a Gorgon is? Gorgon is a creature watching the world via the eyes of its stomach. Gazing here and there, pondering if it's any good for stuffing into its mouth. If yes, how interesting. And if not, then it doesn't really care.

All sorts in the world one can stuff into that mouth. For the senses, for emotions, and also plenty to stuff into the brains, into that pile of thoughts. Gorgon looks for this. It wants to stuff into itself all things from the outside.

While the Gorgon is a kind of parasite, it however is not a vampire. If a Gorgon becomes self-aware of its own mode of operation, awakens to its selfishness, but still decides to carry on in that manner. Then the Gorgon turns into a Pitch-Gorgon — and a Pitch Gorgon is sometimes also classified in the tribe of vampires.

Another class of Gorgons is the Navel Gorgon. While the normie Gorgon seeks for stuff from the outside, to a more superficial measure, the Navel Gorgon is very wrapped up with its own navel. Feelings of superiority, feelings of inferiority, but everything orbits around its own self-conception — and the whole world should support it one way or another. Navel Gorgon.

Another class of Gorgons is the Noble Gorgon. A Noble Gorgon is born when the normie Gorgon, awakened to its mode of operation, seeks to distance itself from its parasitic nature, to return to the world — but also to take. Unlike the Pitch Gorgon, who ruthlessly stuffs everything into its mouth without returning anything to others. Noble Gorgon aspires for balance — but regardless, Gorgons all the same.

When you give to the Gorgon, the Gorgon surely takes. When you ask from the Gorgon, the Gorgon may give, if it's clear that in due time it will get back — and perhaps even more. Gorgon rarely stops to think that one might give even without bein gasked. Where there's scarcity, where there's lack, giving there of its own. Independent of any prospects for returns.

This is not a part of the Gorgon's mode of operation, because the Gorgon believes in its own happiness, without regard for others. Gorgon separates itself from the whole, disconnects from the collective, not understanding the cycle of balance that governs this world. Gorgon is basically a parasite. Aforementioned Noble Gorgon exhibits symbiotic traits, but at the end of the day, its own mouth is still dearer than the mouth of anyone else, much less of the collective.

Are you a Gorgon? Do you know Gorgons? Do you view the world with the eyes of your stomach, pondering what you might take for yourself? Please don't do that. Gorgons lead the world into imbalance. Give more than you take. Blessed are the givers. Takers will be taken from in due time. Accounts are ever balanced. As we wait for the closing of accounts, onward in life, blessed in our giving, dwelling in the Gorgon world.

Don't feed the Gorgons too much though. Their greed but increases. Give as is needed. Help the Gorgon from its gorges toward a wider horizon. Give the Gorgon a key to a broader and unified world. So much for now, from under the banyan tree. From the Nature Channel — bye bye!
