A donkey, an elephant and a chameleon walk into a bar mitzvah. The bartender asks, "What'll it be?"
The elephant says, "Have the old bottle of whiskey." The donkey says, "I should like to have a bottle of champagne." So the bartender hands it out. They both get pissed, start bickering, battling, shit all over the venue.
The bartender looks at the chameleon. "For you, sir?" Says the chameleon, "I'll just have a big empty glass. Whatever the people pour into it, that is what it'll be. I won't even drink any of it. I'll just examine the spectrum and shape myself to match."
The bartender was puzzled. Never have I ever had such a visitor to a bar mitzvah before. And that, my friends, is how you lay the foundations for an authentic political party in the interest of all the people.
The worst ruler is the one who rules by fear. The mediocre is the one who rules being dear to the citizens. And the best ruler is the one who is never seen, who is never heard of, but everything flows exactly as it should, fulfilling the needs of everyone. I heard that on Star Trek once upon a time.
