Let the Sunshine In! — First Dimension of Radiance (WIR006)
Yes let that sunshine in! But not like a hairy hippie hallucinating of fifth-dimensional egos. Actually expose your dark contents to the light of knowledge and — with the magnifying glass of attention — burn your ignorance to ashes.
We turn to ancient sources for augmented insight. Savitur varenyam: The solar absolute! Bhargo devasya: Radiance of archetypal divinities. Jnana-agni: The fire of knowledge. Not the works of glow-worms. Keep it real clear and luminous.
Let the sunshine in. Let the sunshine in... And sing along with the fifth dimension for good measure. But please, please don't turn into a dipshit lightworker. All these glow-worms and fireflies parading around as mediators and agents of divine radiance. Put a thousand of them together into a lantern and barely one room is illuminated.
Now don't take me wrong. Glow-worms and fireflies, they're all pretty. My backyard's full of them. When all of that whatever light is taken for weaving for yourself a radiant little aura that you can then flash off like a peacock dancing on a dung hill, that's just not right. Wanted to say it's an epic load of bullshit, but I'm trying to be polite here.
Let us then attend to that divine radiance in tune with ancient sources.
oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ tát savitúr váreṇyaṃ bhárgo devásya dhīmahi dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt
Of earth, heavens, and in between, we recognize that supreme sun. We contemplate on the radiance of the gods. May that infuse and inspire us. Without indulging in a whole lot of commentary, the short takeaway. There is this undifferentiated white light, the divine non-dual radiance, and through the prism of archetypal divinities it sheds, refracts into this world. On that we contemplate.
Not like a glow worm or a firefly pimping themselves on the stage, but in absolute fusion and in total emanation. And as that absolute radiance, the energy behind formative processes, suffuses, infuses, reveals all of your contents — there shall be light. And in that light you will witness the truth of all that you are and all that you become.
aham ajñāna-jaṁ tamaḥ jñāna-dīpena bhāsvatā
And the darkness born of ignorance, I dispel with the light of knowledge.
jñānāgniḥ sarva-karmāṇi bhasma-sāt kurute tathā
And the fire of knowledge shall burn to ashes all of your karmas, these volitional imprints arising from subject reactivity.
When you take all of that divine radiance and pipe it into a particular corner of your being through the magnifying glass of your attention, it burns. It's not the mellow light that gently supports the holograms of illusion you're weaving. It fucking burns and it burns and it burns until all of your illusions are reduced to a pile of white, clean ash.
But that is such an un-light-workerly thing to say. It almost sounds like quite evil. Yes indeed, the twisted fallen morning star. Well, all hail Lucifer the bringer of light, not a bloody glow worm. And yes, how evil the destruction of all your illusions. Shiva too, the terminator, the concluder of Brahma's light, dancing in the fires of cosmic destruction.
So yes, let the sunshine in — and may it burn through all the way. You will be talking with more than the fifth dimension. I did have half a mind there getting into savitri, the filaments of the solar logos, refractions of the pure white light through the prism of becoming. But another time for the Ravi Shankar special.
Wherever I may roam, the sun keeps on shining and the shadows dance in high definition. Don't dabble in dappled light. Enter the sunshine. Into actual, consequential light that burns through all of your bullshit, dissipates all of your illusions. All right, see you there. Under the clear blue skies, we abide in the light of knowledge.
We also play death metal on the hill tops, but you know, as it happens. But it's not like anyone actually gives a shit either way, ancient Sanskrit sutras or death metal lyrics. It either pads my illusions, or it doesn't, as simple as that. And if you really, really don't want to actually let the sunshine in. Then worry not. The supernovas will rise in their season. Gamma effin' rays from the ancient dawn of the universe. That's the real shit anyways.
